Pemba is unique compared to its neighboring islands. The island itself has limited accommodation options and the travelling distances between the three best hotels on the island can be long and expensive, so once you arrive at your chosen resort don’t expect to move around very easily. Whether you are planning hours of beach bumming or combining it with excursions around the island, the all-inclusive resort has a wide variety of activities to keep you occupied if you so choose. Kayak along the coastline, explore the forest, learn about the local community or try your hand at snorkeling and diving on the nearby reefs.
