Travel Tip Of The Day: How To Go Quad Biking In The Sinai Desert

If you’ve already spent a few days snorkeling or lounging on the beaches of Sharm El Sheikh, you might be wondering what else there is to do in the area.

One of the most fun options is to head out into the Sinai Desert and challenge the dunes on a quad bike.

There are several outfitters servicing the area, and most of them will pick you up at your hotel.

Depending on who you go with, you can normally choose to go out in the morning to catch the sunrise, or do an evening tour and catch the sunset over the desert.

Either option makes for incredible panoramic views.

One of the best outfitters to go with is Sharm Excursions.

For the price of around US$25, they will pick you up at your hotel and take you on a two-hour tour out into the desert.

After a short drive, you can put your pedal to the metal and zoom across the Sinai Mountains.

They also have excursions that will stop at a Bedouin tent where you can eat some delicious food and drink traditional Egyptian tea.

Another great outfitter is Memphis Tours, a company that has been in business since 1955.

They offer a similar journey, but also offer overnight stays where you can enjoy a barbecue dinner and a Bedouin village tour.

Prices start at US$75 for an adult, but group packages are available with discounts depending on how many people are with you.

Even bringing one extra person will save you $30 dollars, so it’s good to round up some friends to share the experience with.

No matter who you choose to go with, a trip to go quad biking in the Sinai Desert is one of the most affordable and fun adventures one can have in Egypt.
