If you’re looking to save money while traveling with kids in Cape Town, there’s no better way to do it than with City Sightseeing.

The company’s Cape Town red buses have recently started their annual 3 for 1 Kids special — running from May 1 through October 15.

The special lets any two children under the age of 18 accompany one paying adult for free on the weekends, public and school holidays.

It’s a perfect option that allows both tourists and locals a way to explore Cape Town and the peninsula on the cheap.

Holidays included on the deal include Father’s Day, Women’s Day, Youth Day, Heritage Day, and June/July school holidays.

Tickets for adults on the City Sightsteeing bus cost R170 and can be purchased from ticket offices.

If you don’t want to wait, visitors can also by tickets on the City Sightseeing webpage for a reduced fair of R150

The tour gives access to Table Mountain and includes stops like the Iziko Museum, Camps Bay, Long Street, Mount Nelson Hotel, the Castle of Good Hope, and more.

A boat cruise is also available in the deal and costs only R35 per adult, online.

In addition to the 3 for 1 deal, City Sightseeing also offers a new free walking tour in the morning or afternoon.
