This should go without saying, but when traveling to such a gorgeous and delicate continent such as Africa, you should try to leave no trace of your presence.
No, this isn’t some Burning Man mantra, but something all travelers should be wary of.
Don’t throw those cigarette butts or coke bottles on the beach, and don’t leave a mess if you are out camping or hiking.
Africa has far too many problems dealing with trash and environmental resources as it is. The least we can do is leave it in great condition.
