Morocco is blessed with hundreds of miles of Atlantic and Mediterranean coastline. ClubHotel Riu Tikida Dunas, Agadir

This all-inclusive resort was updated in the spring of 2015 and is one of the top beach resorts in Morocco. It has quite possibly the best spot of beach in Agadir, and features two swimming pools that face the ocean. In total, there are a whopping 406 rooms on the property, along with several large buffet style restaurants. For travelers looking to keep active, the hotel offers horseback riding, bicycle rentals and two tennis courts.

Club Med, Yasmina

Located just outside of Tangier, the Club Med in Yasmina brings all the features people love about Club Med to the Mediterranean coast of Morocco. The resort has recently been renovated and features 350 rooms on 42 acres of pristine beaches, palm trees and jasmine bushes. There are four hotel buildings in total, with several facing the sea. As with most Club Med properties, there are numerous bars and restaurants with dining options to suit almost everybody. Outside of the rooms and restaurants, the star attractions of this location are all the activities available, which include bocce ball, archery, kayaking, tennis, and even a flying trapeze school.

La Sultana Oualidia, Oualidia

Travelers looking for a remote environment will love the La Sultana Oualidia. Unlike cities like Essaouira and Agadir, Oualidia is surrounded by a vast area of beaches and nature instead of bustling medinas. The resort features a private beach, five jacuzzis, and a giant swimming pool which are also nestled by a quiet lagoon. The rooms and property are decorated in a classic Moroccan style which will make guests think they are at a sultan’s palace. The food at Lu Sultana Oualidia specializes in seafood and offers cooking classes so guests can learn some of the secrets of exotic Moroccan cooking.

Oriental Bay Beach Golf & Spa, Saidia

This 5-star property is located right on the Mediterranean with fantastic views of the hotel gardens and beach. The massive grounds — which look like they belong in Marrakech — have 614 rooms, three restaurants and a variety of activities to keep everybody in the family busy. There are bars on the beach, along with a large pool that features a water park (and even more bars). Of course, like the name, there’s also a golf course onsite for playing a few rounds. A visit to Oriental Bay Beach Golf & Spa is not complete without heading to the on-site hammam for a leisurely massage.

Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea and Spa

Sofitel Agadir Thalassa Sea & Spa, Agadir

This luxurious hotel is one of the best in Sofitel’s lineup and features an enchanting setting on the beaches of Agadir. There are 173 exquisite rooms on site, including 44 suites, along with a variety of restaurants and high-end amenities. As it’s the theme of the hotel, guests won’t want to leave without having a Moroccan argan oil massage or relaxing in the heated seawater swimming pool.

Atlas Essaouira & Spa, Essaouira

This fab hotel faces the mythical Mogador Island and is just a 10 minute walk to the ramparts of Essaouira. The hotel rooms feature modern decor throughout, with many of the rooms having fantastic views of the sea. As you might have guessed by the name, one of the hotel’s key attractions is it’s oriental inspired Daniel Jouvance spa, which offers a traditional hammam and relaxing water therapy. Mazagan Beach And Golf Resort, El Jadida

This lovely beach resort is located in serene El Jadida, a small beach city just over an hour south of Casablanca. The hotel is located in the middle of a 9-mile strip of Mediterranean beach and specializes in nightly shows which are perfect for entertaining the kids. There are 484 hotel rooms on the property, including an immaculate presidential suite for guests wanting some extra comfort.
