I’ve never actually stayed to eat in any Thai Café I’ve ever been to. I’ve only ever gone to pick up my order or just gotten delivery straight to my house. There is certainly the option of sitting at the actual restaurant and the one in Palmyra Road does look very nice inside. This, for some reason, has just always been my go to take away place. I’m not a big fast food fan, so when I do order take away I generally go for something like Thai food, Chinese or curry. When I discovered Thai Café I loved it so much that for a good few months it became our Friday night meal of choice. I remember when we first moved into our flat. We had no furniture, except for two chairs and a desk with our computer on it. We had no food in the house so we ordered Thai Café and ate it in the lounge, while watching a movie. So every time I eat from Thai Café I am reminded of that time, the feeling of a new beginning in an exciting new city.

I just love their food. I wish I could comment on more of their options but to be honest I end up ordering the same meal time and time again. The only difference is sometimes I have noodles and sometimes I have rice. Each and every time I choose the Stir Fried Cashew – which is fresh vegetables and crunchy cashews lightly stir fried in soy sauce with chicken, beef or pork, and your choice of rice or noodles. Just like me my husband also has the same meal each time, but he goes for the Phad Me Prik Phao, which is basically stir fried cashews with chilli paste, so pretty much the same as me but with a bit more of a kick to it. Great food, every time!
