It’s no surprise that I’m a fan of sushi and I’m constantly looking for new places to go. So I was excited to discover that there was now a place that does sushi delivery. There is no actual restaurant involved at all, only delivery. Interesting. Never heard of a sushi place doing this. I was sceptical but still keen to give it a try. And so on Saturday when I was in no mood to go out I decided to put it to the test. At the moment they delivery to the City Bowl and surrounds, Claremont and surrounds and Tygervalley and surrounds. Thankfully my place fell under these requirements. Big moment of relief. The online ordering service is very easy and everything is explained very well. Once you have placed your order you get an email with the details and the estimated time of arrival. It said mine would arrive in 45 minutes. They weren’t lying. In 45 minutes the doorbell rang and I rushed downstairs to pay and get my order. You get the option of paying cash or by card which is nice because often a lot of delivery places won’t do card (not great when you don’t carry cash around). Everything ran smoothly and I was eager to get to the food.
We ordered a nice selection of sushi including salmon roses, bamboo rolls and rainbow rolls. They also added in a bowl of edamame beans which we devoured. Great service. The sushi far exceeded by expectations and I absolutely loved the bamboo rolls! I would definitely order from them again. It’s so convenient and a great alternative to take away meals!
