I cannot explain to you how excited I was when I heard that The Creamery was coming to my area. I had heard about them through social media as they have a good online presence and people were constantly raving about them. I was about to make a plan to visit one of their stores when I heard they were opening up within walking distance from my flat. Which basically means ice cream anytime I want!

This isn’t just any ice cream, this is natural ice cream sourced from local ingredients and made from scratch. Aware of the environment and animals, they work towards providing clients with delicious products while still being good to the earth.

As soon as they opened my husband I took a walk to try them out. Their flavours change depending on the season and their mood, but they try to always have the following five in stock: 65% chocolate, peanut butter, sea salt caramel, coffee, and farm cream. We decided to indulge in some waffles and ice cream. I went for the coffee ice cream and my husband chose the peanut putter. Then we split it in half so that we both got to enjoy both flavours. I’d honestly battle to go back and try something new because this was the perfect combination. The coffee they use is from Rosetta Roastery which is also want you get when you order a coffee to drink. The coffee is incredible and makes the perfect accompaniment to the waffles.

You can, of course, also order the ice cream without the waffles, to be enjoyed in cones or cups, and they also offer other delicious ideas such as s’mores, banana split, milkshakes and chocolate brownies.
