I’m loving all these new sushi delivery places that seem to be opening up. Second one in my area. Situated in Kenwyn they offer free delivery throughout the Southern Suburbs.
I heard about them through social media and the pictures circulating seemed very appetising so I contacted them to find out more. They’re still very new so there is no website, but they do have a Facebook page, a Twitter account and they’re on Instagram so they are doing well to promote themselves. They said they would email me a copy of the menu, which they did.

The menu needs some serious work, lots of spelling mistakes and other errors. But as a designer this is something that is probably going to bother me more than most people. Nevertheless we decided to give them a try. I called them up and placed my order and it all went quite smoothly. Unfortunately they didn’t take cards which was a bit of a problem as I didn’t have cash on me so I had to run to the shop to quickly draw. But they did apologise and said they will be sorting that out soon. They are very new so I wasn’t upset at all and the ATM wasn’t far from me.

The sushi delivery was a little bit late but my place is a bit hard to find so it’s okay. The sushi was actually pretty good and the overall price wasn’t too bad for what you got. I enjoyed the Salmon Bamboo the most. Often bamboo rolls can be too big but these were perfect little bite sized portions. The salmon was lovely and they used a decent amount of mayo on all the pieces.

Overall we enjoyed it and I would definitely get again. The convenience of it all is especially wonderful, and I’m looking forward to seeing them rectify their early mistakes and grow from strength to strength.
