Perfectly located a walking distance (if you want an easy evening stroll) from Mandela Square in Sandton, The Maslow is one of the best hotels in the area. Though lacking in scenic view from the rooms, the ambiance set there in is really something to behold. A crisp white finish in the wash-room and good lighting around the room gives a relaxed feeling after a long day of meetings and working.
The Maslow’s staff were also very professional and welcoming when I stayed there. I managed to sort out an issue with my reservation by just sending an email to their reservations and got someone knocking at my door a few minutes later with a solution. Although their breakfast was a bit dull and over cooked, the personal service by the waiters quickly compensates for that.
If you don’t wish to walk to the Mandela Square, the hotel offers a shuttle every 30 mins for all residents. They however don’t offer transport to the airport and the shuttle only works from 7am to 10pm.
Definitely somewhere I would recommend to anyone on a business visit in Sandton.
