Sick of the snow? Well, you could head back to work after your Christmas break with tanned skin, looking refreshed and still trying to climatize. Spend your festive season soaking up some sun at any of these awesome destinations.

1. Sydney in Australia 

Whether you’re keen to do some sightseeing of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge or wanting to catch some rays at Bondi or Manly Beach, Sydney has something for everyone. Plus you’ll find some of the most delicious food from all over the world in this city.

2. Puerto Vallarta in Mexico 

With daily hot temperatures, Puerto Vallarta is meant for lounging around on the beach. Amazing Mexican cuisine will replace that Christmas Eve roast, but you’ll have full belly just like every other year.

3. Goa in India 

With not a drop of rain or chilly snow in sight and an warm weather, Goa is quickly becoming a popular holiday destination over Christmas time. Goa is also known as India’s sunshine state and has the most amazing sunsets from almost any beach.

4. Zanzibar in Tanzania 

If you love ocean activities like scuba diving, kite surfing and sailing, then Zanzibar is for you. Over Christmas, it becomes a multicultural place with people from all over the world. December and early January have high temps and very little rain which makes it perfect for a Christmas  vacation.

5. Phuket in Thailand 

With a warm tropical climate and waters, Phuket is a vacationers dream. The beaches have white sand, no waves and are very safe — so for a family with young kids it is ideal.

6. The Maldives 

This island nation in the Indian Ocean is a vacation makers dream. With very little rainfall and warm temps during December, these 1192 coral islands is ideal for snorkel, scuba dive or just catch a tan on a beach.

7. Punta Cana in Dominican Republic 

Known as one of the best golf destinations (something for dad to do), Punta Cana is all about relaxing. Besides the several golf courses, there are loads of amazing resorts and spas to choose from. The beaches have calm, warm waters and white sand which is ideal for kids.

8. Malaga in Spain 

With mild temps, very little rainfall and eight hours of sunshine, winter in Spain seems more like summer. Malaga is probably the best place in Europe to get some winter sunshine.

9. Florida in the USA 

Forget the theme parks and nightlife, and just enjoy the warm winter sunshine. For Americans, this one doesn’t really need explaining. 

10. Tahiti in French Polynesia

The largest island in French Polynesia, Tahiti is also one of the most beautiful. With exquisite resorts that accommodate all your needs, this island is perfect for a family wanting to enjoy the quiet beaches.

11. Negril in Jamaica 

The small town in Jamaica has a population of 6,900 people and is known as beach resort town. The relaxed atmosphere and laid-back lifestyle makes for an amazing Christmas experience.

12. Dubai

With summers being too hot, the winter months over Christmas time in Dubai bring in cooler temps. But it’s still warm enough to spend countless days lazing around on the beach.

13. Cape Town in South Africa

With amazing food and wine, and variety of world class restaurant to enjoy it in, Cape Town is ideal for foodies who also want to enjoy the warm weather and lounge on the city’s many beaches.

14. Madeira in Portugal

Located in the Atlantic Ocean, Madeira is an island with delicious seafood and amazing beaches. Over Christmas temperatures get pretty balmy, bust still warm enough for a vacay. 

15. Bali in Indonesia

In recent years Bali has become a popular vacation destination. Over Christmas the weather is fairly wet, but warm temps, it’s still worth a visit.
