Details: Your first stop is Leroo la Tau at the edge of the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, where thousands of zebra, wildebeest and other plains game congregate along the Boteti River, especially between November and May. Relax in the plunge pool, watch wildlife from the deck or go on a game drive to explore the park.
You’ll then fly to Xakanaxa camp on the banks of the Khwai River to spend time in Moremi Game Reserve, where land and delta meet in a series of grassland floodplains, waterways and pans. You’ll be able to look for the Big Five and a huge diversity of other species, including more than 400 species of birds.
Your final stop is deeper in the Okavango Delta, where you’ll stay in an island at Xugana Island Lodge. You can explore on foot, motorboat, or by traditional mokoro to see the delta from a different point of view.
