Mahali Mzuri is part of Richard Branson’s Virgin Limited Edition collection of lodges, camps and hotels. Its 12 luxury tented suites cater for a maximum of 24 guests at any one time. Each tent at Mahali Mzuri includes a spacious seating area, en suite bathroom and large deck to maximise those amazing views over the plains. All tents cover approximately 106 square metres. 10 of the suites can be configured with either king or twin beds, and two of the suites contain four-poster king size beds and are designed to accommodate up to two additional children on sofa beds in the living room. Children’s books, games and kites, plus a TV, DVD player and games console are provided for extra entertainment.
Details: Up to two kids (aged 6-15) stay free when sharing with 1 or 2 parents in a family tent. This saves you the 50% additional supplement normally applied to additional kids sharing with their parents (up to US$770 per child per night).
You can also get 50% off a second tent for children and young adults aged 6–18. Double occupancy tents start at $1,070 per adult per night for the first tent, rates for a second tent starts from $430 for single occupancy and $1,070 for double occupancy, saving you up to $1,058 per additional tent per night.
