This journey takes you first to Botswana’s Savute region of the Chobe National Park, renowned for its high concentration of lions and its vigorous predator interactions, particularly between lions and spotted hyenas. You can expect to see lots of elephant and buffalo and perhaps even the African wild dog.
Your next stop is the Okavango Delta, where you’ll stay at two superb camps. You can join daily game drives or choose to glide quietly through the maze of water channels on a mokoro (dug-out canoe). Getting an eye-level perspective from a mokoro is a classic and essential part of any delta safari.
