VIDEO: Migration In The Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary, Senegal

The Djoudj National Bird Sanctuary is located in the delta of the Senegal River and is a vital and fragile place that shelters 1.5 million migratory birds from Europe and Northern Asia.

There are over 350 species that spend winter here and it was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981.
